History

The Paola Chamber of Commerce has been serving our community since 1920. Since then, we have had multiple addresses, but we currently reside in the newly renovated Visitor Center on the historic downtown square at 6 W. Peoria.

Considering modern conveniences and technology, the services that we have provided over the course of 90 years has changed dramatically, but we continue to offer our members many benefits, staying current with updated business resources.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS | AMBASSADORS | VOLUNTEERS

The Paola Chamber of Commerce is able to offer the best level of service and quality events throughout the year with the help of our Board of Directors and Ambassadors. Each group meets monthly. The role of the Board is to oversee policies and procedures. The Ambassadors manage Chamber Public Relations and Event Coordination through several committees and subcommittees.

There are also the ‘Friends of the Chamber’. They volunteer at events with registration, clean-up, and other essential jobs to ensure that our events are successful.

Volunteers work at the front desk of the new Visitors Center located at 6 W. Peoria on the Park Square. They are happy to answer questions about businesses, organizations and festivals/attractions, and destinations in the community.

All of these groups are invaluable to the Chamber and we appreciate all that they do for our community.
